When innovative people assemble on a single platform, they visualize novel ideas and script new renaissance. “ANWESHAN” aspires to reach the greatest height of admiration as the title itself is full of youthful vigour. Jyotirmoy School of Law’s uniqueness lies in taking this dynamic initiative towards hosting a grand Law Fest ,

where a galaxy of young creative minds of India’s most reputed colleges participate in different events which are designed in an all-inclusive manner touching all facets of academic and cultural spectrum . Students from all over the globe participate in various educational and Cultural events like Moot Court, Creative Writing, Extempore, Debate, Quiz, Dance competition, Mehendi, Football etc. In the last 9 editions of Anweshan , the institution had organized 7 international seminars and 2 international conferences on different topics of Law and Social Studies. Anweshan has always been blessed by the presence of eminent personalities and distinguished academicians from India and abroad.

The three days law fest includes the competitions events like Legal Extempore, Moot Court, Painting Competition, Photography, Creative Writing, Dancing Competition, Debate, 60 Seconds to fame, Fashion Show Competition, Singing Competition, Quiz and more.

  • Via Sealdah- Any Sonarpur bound local train (like Sonarpur, Baruipur, Laxmikantapur, Namkhana, Canning, Diamond Harbour locals)
  • Via Howrah- Avail any train to Howrah. Then:
  • By road - Come to Garia by bus/ taxi. Then avail auto from Garia to Sonarpur Station.
  • By metro - Come to Esplanade by bus/ taxi. Then avail metro from Esplanade to Garia (KaviNazrul Metro Station). Then avail auto to Sonarpur Station.

  • From NetajiSubhas International Airport via E.M.Bypass, Kamalgazi to Sonarpur Station.
